FREE KNITTING PATTERN
I do like to have my hands free when walking the dog, so a cowl is my goto neck accessory for chilly, or downright freezing days.
The starburst cowl is a very simple and fast knit. Which makes it great for beginners. You use both the moss stitch and the starburst stitch knit in the round for this cowl.
I really enjoy both these stitch patterns as they are very easy to remember, which means I can knit while I binge on my favourite TV shows. I knitted this cowl while watching the New Year's Dr Who episode. Let me know what you watch or listen to while knitting in the comments below.
There is a video tutorial for the Starburst stitch, which is shown at the end of the pattern. This includes how to work around the stitch marker for Round 3 of the starburst pattern.
